About Us
Our team at River City Logistics is committed to a seamless freight experience. From the initial quote all the way through delivery, we aim to provide peace of mind to our customers. We have been providing top tier freight solutions for companies both small and large for over 12 years, and have freight logistics training from some of the top 30 brokerage companies. From day 1 our goal has been to make life easier by offering efficient freight solutions paired with an exceptional customer experience. By getting to know our customers and their needs we have been able to partner with them more effectively, and can’t wait to see who we can help next.
History
River City Logistics was founded in 2018 as a ‘one-man band’ by Chris Brewer. After working in the industry as a dispatcher and broker, Chris found the need for a customer-centric and ethical business model. The business grew to 3 employees by the end of 2019 with a single office in downtown Sacramento, CA. As we expanded to have offices in Reno, NV and Peosta, IA with 22 seasoned professionals of all backgrounds, we also worked to define our purpose and vision. Our attention to detail, willingness to go the extra mile, and commitment to excellence has allowed for customers of all sizes to feel comfortable and safe in our hands, allowing us to become one of the fastest growing 3PL’s in the industry.

Chris Brewer
President - BA, Clarke University, Dubuque, Iowa
Chris is the Founder and President of River City Logistics, leading the entire operation. He graduated from Clarke University of 2013, playing baseball during his time there. Chris has a dynamic mix of experience in transportation, working as a Fleet Manager, a West Coast Operations Manager, and Sales Executive for a top brokerage before starting RCL. When asking about his favorite part of working at RCL, Chris said, “I find more joy in the success of individuals than the overall success of the company. I enjoy giving people the platform and tools to change their lives.”
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Liz, and two kids, Taylor and Drake. He enjoys golfing and traveling.
Josh Greenbaum
vp of sales - BA, University of Nevada Reno – Reno, NV
Josh is the sales guru of the team, overseeing the sales operations in both Reno and Iowa offices. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Josh worked in the logistics division for Target before joining a top brokerage in Reno, NV as a Sales Executive. Josh’s favorite part of working at RCL is developing long lasting relationships with customers and our RCL team.

In his free time, Josh enjoys golfing and supporting Wolf Pack athletics.
Nick Lester
Director of Operations - BS, University of Nevada Reno – Reno, NV
Nick is the Carrier Relations specialist of the group, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Carrier Specialist team in both the Reno and Iowa offices. Nick graduated from the University of Nevada in 2016 and immediately joined a top brokerage in Reno, NV. After managing a trio of resort pools on the Las Vegas Strip, he joined the team at RCL. His favorite part of working at RCL is the ability to succeed through helping clients.
